Editorial policy
Our AI news stories are researched and drafted with AI assistance, then checked automatically against published sources before they go live. This page explains exactly how.
How a story is made
- Each morning, an AI model searches the web for the most significant AI or technology story of the last 48 hours.
- It drafts the story using only what those search results report, and records every page it relied on.
- Before publishing, our system opens every source link. A story is published only if at least two independent sources load, and at least one of them is dated within the last 72 hours.
- The story is compared with everything we have already published. If we have covered the same event, no new story is created.
Sources
Every story ends with a numbered Sources list, and numbers in the text point to the source behind each claim. We prefer primary sources: official company announcements, filings, research papers and government documents. News reports are used to confirm and add context.
Stories published before October 2026 were written before this process existed and do not yet list their sources. They are being re-checked, and any that cannot be confirmed will be removed.
What we don't do
- We don't copy or rewrite other publishers' articles. Stories summarise what sources report, in our own words, and link to them.
- We don't publish quotes, figures or dates that do not appear in a linked source.
- We don't accept payment for coverage.
Corrections
When a story is corrected, the change is made in place and the story shows an updated date. Stories found to be inaccurate and unfixable are removed and redirected to a related story.
